I booked King St Hotel as part of my wife's birthday celebrations. I wanted a boutique style hotel with grand features and great decor... We weren't disappointed! From the moment we arrived we were given 4star treatment which was impeccable and without becoming overbearing. The standard of the room was fantastic, a fusion of Modern, Georgian, and Edwardian styles, which carried throught the hotel. The hotel was a joy, the bed was amazingly comfortable with no noise from outside, at all. Read less

Service from the staff was fantastic. Bed was soooo comfortable. Room was über chic. The whole feel of the hotel was very polished and rememiscent of something very much more expensive.
Dislikes:
That we didn't stay longer.

We haven't spent much time in the room, since we made trips to Leeds Castle, Whistable, Brigthon, London, etc. However, it has alwasy been good to come back.

The hotel location is just yards from Maidstone city centre, which allowed us to walk to the railway station, or pubs and restaurants. Read less

First and above all the hotel staff are very friendly. Rooms are clean and entirely new and nicely decorated in traditional British designs

The staff were the friendliest and most helpful we have met for a long while, the food (lunch/early evening) was lovely and very good value for money.
Dislikes:
a few small points - no soap in bathroom and a floormat for getting out of the shower would have stopped me getting wet footprints everywhere!
the view! (builders rubble)possibly supply more teabags?

Very clean room and comfortable bed and the staff exceptional
Dislikes:
The heating did not work but the staff produced a small fan heater which was completly acceptable and kept the room warm. The bathroom extractor fan made a loud noise until it settled down to a hum.

The hotel has been transformed compared to its previous incarnation. The hotel is very clean with excellent décor throughout. The staff are very friendly, there is a nice little bar.
