King Street Hotel in Maidstone is a friendly and comfortable family run establishment, with personal service from the owners Jackie and Robert Chater with an elegant bar and a night porter service. We are situated in the centre of Maidstone within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants, train and bus stations.

We are also within walking distance of The Orangery, Turkey Mill which is on the Ashford Road for guests who are attending weddings and functions there. King Street Hotel is in a convenient location for visitors to Maidstone Hospital, County Hall and Maidstone Crown Court.

The Grade II listed hotel was built as a rectory in 1802 and retains many original features, which have old world charm and all modern amenities. However, we do not have wheelchair access to the property.

All hotel rooms are en-suite with TV, radio alarm, direct dial telephone, trouser press, hair dryer and hospitality tray. There are also Conference and Meeting facilities for up to thirty-five people.

The hotel also has a wireless broadband facility available in all public rooms and most of the bedrooms.
